My passion is skiing. I am at my happiest when I spend a day on the mountain on top of my skis in fresh snow.
My name is Michael Kenny III and Winter Culture is my blog about winter sports and lifestyle and many of the activities that surround skiing. Travel, resort destinations, competition, equipment, camaraderie, music – all of the activities that make a great winter vacation memorable.
I started skiing at age 8 and have been in pursuit of fresh snow and new runs ever since. While I have skied in many places in the world, my list of places I need to go skiing at far exceeds the places I have already been.
Skiing is a metaphor for life: you pick your line, you commit to it and then you just have to enjoy the ride.
